Thetford Forest is a haven for wildlife, with glorious walking and cycling, and along the North Norfolk coast visitors will find quaint harbours, Holkham’s sandy beach, the Queen’s estate at Sandringham and the resort of Hunstanton. Had a wonderful time, the holiday cottage was of the highest standard, every attention to detail had been thought off even down to a pint of milk in the fridge! how thoughtfull, this really made my short break perfect. im looking forward to returning and have recomended this cottage to all my friends. A big thankyou to the owners of this holiday cottage for putting so much care into it and to the cleaners that make it so lovely and clean and well laid out. You made my holiday the best!

Taking a break in one of our holiday cottages in Norfolk is the ideal way to explore this atmospheric and historic county. The coastline is the major attraction here, with miles of sandy beaches stretching from historic King’s Lynn all the way round to Great Yarmouth, famous for its Golden Mile and multitude of seaside attractions and entertainments. Cromer (noted for its crabs and pier), Sheringham and Hunstanton are also firm family favourites. If you prefer something quieter during your stay in one of our holiday cottages in Norfolk, try the North Norfolk Coast, a designated Area of Natural Beauty and a haven for walkers and birdwatchers. Venture inland and you’ll discover a gently rolling landscape dotted with flint cottages and ancient churches.

The county town of Norwich is one of England’s best-preserved cities and is a joy to wander around. Don’t miss a visit to the magnificent cathedral towering above the surrounding medieval streets. East of the city lie the Norfolk Broads, a vast expanse of interconnected lakes and waterways which has long been a firm favourite with sailors. Hire a boat for a day to see them at their best. Less
well-known are the mysterious Brecks, a wilderness area of heaths and forests and one of the least-populated parts of the country.
